Whether you’re clearing excavated spoil, hardcore, or general site waste, our grab lorries provide a fast and practical alternative to skips. Ideal for sites with limited space or larger volumes of waste, they allow for quick collection and efficient removal in a single visit.

Our grab hire service operates from our main depot in Honeybourne, on the edge of the Vale of Evesham and bordering the Cotswolds. This central location allows us to cover a wide service area across Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, and Oxfordshire.
Unlike our skip hire network, our grab lorries can travel further afield, giving greater flexibility for both domestic and commercial projects. Whether it’s a construction site, groundwork project, or a large clear-out, we can provide a fast and efficient solution.
We regularly support customers in towns, villages, and rural locations where access or space may be limited, making grab hire an ideal alternative to skips. It’s a practical solution for handling larger volumes of waste in a single visit.
For the best option, speak directly with our team. Tell us about the waste type, volume, and site details, and we’ll guide you to the most efficient solution.
The cost of a grab lorry depends on several factors. Firstly, the location of the site, so always have your postcode ready. Secondly, the type of material, such as muck, stone, or clay. Finally, the amount of material that needs to be removed.
This depends on whether it is an 8-wheel or 6-wheel grab lorry. Larger 8-wheel grab lorries can carry approximately 16 tonnes, while smaller 6-wheel vehicles can carry approximately 12 tonnes.
The crane on a grab lorry can typically reach between 6 and 8 metres.
Waste should be piled in an open area where the lorry can pull alongside it. There must be no overhead power lines, telephone cables, or overhanging tree branches.
Depending on the amount of material and how it has been piled, loading usually takes around 15 to 20 minutes.
Yes, provided the fence is no higher than 6ft and the operator can position the vehicle safely alongside it. The lorry also needs enough room to extend the supporting leg, remain on firm ground, and avoid obstructing vehicles or pedestrians.
We can take muck, soil, rubble, brick, concrete, and certain types of green waste.
We can collect almost anything! We just ask that loads of segragated materials aren’t mixed with other waste.
We need the full site address, a contact name, and a phone number. We also need to know the type of material, where it has come from, and whether there is suitable access for the grab lorry to position alongside the waste. We cannot grab waste over the front of the cab or behind the lorry.
We provide grab hire across Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, and Oxfordshire.
